We recommend putting your jewelry on last when getting dressed. Direct exposure to styling products and perfume will damage the metal and gemstones. Pearls are an organic gemstone; they are somehow different from other gemstones and precious metals. They are softer and more delicate, and they can be easily scratched, cracked, and damaged. Furthermore, substances such as perfume and hair spray and even natural body oils and perspiration also dull pearls' luster or cloud their brilliance. Because of their delicacy, pearls should be stored separately, away from hard jewelry items, to prevent scratches or other damage. If possible, store them wrapped in soft cloth, pouch, or jewelry box. To prevent strand breakage, it is recommended to have your pearls restrung periodically. Knotting the strand between each pearl will prevent all of the pearls from falling off the strand in the event the strand breaks. Lastly, knotting prevents the pearls from rubbing against one another and causing damage.
Except for normal wear or abuse, we will repair or replace your jewelry (should there be a manufacturing defect), for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This guarantee does not cover repair or replacement due to accidental damage, or if another jeweler repairs, resizes or works on the jewelry.
